How in the world do you leave a career you have been in for over 20 years? Well, you take a big leap. That is what I am doing. I am taking the leap. I am letting go of the trapeze bar I have been holding onto for 22 years. I am allowing myself to be scared and confused about the unknown. But I am also allowing myself to accept all of those feelings that come with being mid-air, reaching for that next trapeze bar. Or… I fall and land in the safety net and climb my way back up. Both outcomes are terrifying, but worth it.

Why do I need a big leap in my life at this point? I am have a stable, secure income. I have no unknowns when I get up and go to school every day. It is predictable. BUT, when I feel I have a bigger impact to make on this world, predictable and stable isn’t going to cut it anymore. Passion is driving me to this big change in my life.

I want to do daring things that I would have never even considered before all of the work I have put into making my life happier and healthier. And one of those daring things is changing my career, even this late in life. I know I can make a bigger difference in this world and I am ready to take the leap and do it!!
